Futura Typestyle Booklet
The goal
This typography project tasked me with creating a four-page booklet on the history of a typestyle. The goal was to accurately represent and educate readers on the typestyle history and characteristics.
MY solution
My solution to this project began with my research. I learned that Futura was created as a fresh start for an affordable housing project, and chose the imagery and green color to symbolize new beginnings. Then i utilized the typestyles ascenders and descenders to my advantage and created expressive layouts to showcase the typestyle.
